where we spend another five fantastic years. Helena stayed on doctor studies and today she is working on research on pig´s breeding ethology.
Our frienship has always been based on love for animals, most for shepherd dogs and cats. While I prefered long-hair Belgian (but also German) shepherds, Helena fell in love with malinois and their working character. Finaly a few of "clear arguments" turned her into tervuerens.
The first one was my dog Boy z Krumlovského údolí, who fascinated Helena by his temperament, friedliness, smartness and hudge drive for defence work.
The second argument was when I unexpectedly phoned her and pushed her to choose puppie of tervueren Lucky Boye Perla Mahagon (Lupus van de Hoge Laer X Ch.Colette Perla Mahagon) - one of the best mating in Czech republic that time.
This way Helena got to her first tervueren.
She was very succesfull with Lucky on many shows(Champion CZ, some CACIBs and BOBs) and she trained by the NZR (sim. to IPO). She took Beth Deabei three years later, who unfortunetaly died by accident in 18 months. One year after accident Helena decided to take sister of Beth, Bungee Deabei.
Lucky and Bungee has lived by Helena till today. They are already both pensioners - Lucky in the age of 11 years, Bungee in the age of 9 years, both castrated. Time to time Cilka - familly border terier join them.
Helena has not breeded any litter on her kennel. Beth died untimely, Bungee has epilepsy as well as Lucky whos first attack was at four years.
I have a big respect for Helena´s detached on canine world and for her openness. She is my privat theoretic adviser. We consult the behaviours and health of dogs and heredity.
Helena loves her dogs as they are and she would never change them.
